We’ve been using a variety of CMS’s over the years, but Archeios allowed us to push the envelope eve further by creating a “multisite” system of website using one code base. This makes the process of development and administration much easier in the CMS environment.
The Archeios system of websites operate using sub-domains an a powerful Virtual Dedicated Web Server. The websites that have been created are quite large in their menu systems (some over 100 menu items) and downloadable content with some sites making available over 1GB of downloadable content. The requirements of bandwidth can be demanding, but with the VPS and the multisite set-up, it becomes very efficient.
