Greg Albright Design Awarded BPTC Contract
In December, 2011 Greg Albright Design was awarded the contract to redesign, develop and program the new Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation website (commonly known as Bloomington Transit). The request for bidding was released in the summer of 2011 and Greg Albright Design competed with a number of firms for the project. The new website is expected to be ready for relaunch in Spring, 2012.
The Bloomington Transit web site is the major source of transit information for the City with over 3,000,000 visits, annually. The new website will be more user-friendly, more accessible for persons with visual impairments, will use modern trip planning technology, feature social media, make available archived information and serve as a resource center for accessing and downloading documents.
